2022 USA Mullet Championship kids and teen winners announced – USA TODAY

The votes are in and Wisconsin youth Emmitt Bailey has been crowned the 2022 USA Mullet Champion Kids Division winner.
Bailey, 8, of Menomonie, is one of 25 minors across the country who made it to the final round of the USA Mullet Championships.
His prize: The title of best mullet in the nation for his age division and $2,500 in cash.
Kid finalist Epic Orta of La Joya, Texas placed second in the division followed by William Dale Ramsey of Pataskala, Ohio, who came in third.
To enter, kids submitted photos of their haircuts to garner enough likes on Facebook to advance to the next round. Contestants submitted front, back and side images of their mullets, as well as a name for their locks. 
Nearly 700 original entries for the kids division was whittled down to 25. Eleven teens competed in their category, down from 80 contest entrants.
“WooooHoooo go Emmitt,” Lesli Elkins Baltz posted on Facebook. “We hope you’re having a blast!”
“Congratulations!” Sandra Wolf also replied. “My grand son was in the mullet contest. He did great also! Have fun!!”
The winner of the teen mullet division was also announced Sunday morning.
Cayden Kershaw of Wausau, Wisconsin, took home the top prize in his division.
Fisher Monds of Hilliard, Florida came in second place followed by Max Weihbrecht who came in third.

Don’t worry, adults. You’ve got until the end of August to enter in your age category.
The 2022 Men’s Open series contest is open for submissions. The winner gets $2,500 in cash, the USA Mullet Championships Trophy and all the mullet fame they can take.
