‘Assault on the Queen’s legacy’ – The Week UK

All you need to know about everything that matters.
Harry and Meghan’s TV show is a “direct hit” on the “late Queen’s legacy”, says The Telegraph after the series launched on Netflix yesterday. The Daily Mail echoes this, describing the show has an “assault on the Queen’s legacy”.
“Stop this royal circus”, headlines The Mirror, saying that as Princes Harry and William squabble, ordinary people are “choosing between eating and heating”. The Daily Star says the series is not as good as BBC series Homes Under The Hammer.
Meanwhile, reports the Financial Times, Jeremy Hunt will “redraw the financial services rule book” today in a bid to boost the City of London as a driver of growth. A “wave of reforms” will be launched, says the paper, but there has been a “warning on risks”.
